Yeah I like Vista, it turned me on to Linux! I just installed Opensuse 10.2 on my moms PC. She loves it, I told her “Don’t worry, unlike windows a Linux PC is VERY hard for a user to mess up, and is Much more secure than anything Microsoft has ever written” For those newbies, the last secure stable Microsoft OS was DOS 6.2 connected to a Novell server.
Yes I still am a network engineer(until I get replaced agian by an H1-B), and yes most of the desktops in business are windows(poor fools) but the Linux server market is crushing Microsoft’s buggy proprietary, expensive, crap and desktop Linux is gaining ground thanks to Vista and buggy slow DRM than nobody wants or trusts.
Oh and as far as embedded OS in a product Microsoft has nothing.
